I just bought a couple of the Sizzix Framelit Flip-it dies.  Below are a couple of cards I made.  This is a simple and quick way to make an interactive card.

I love this stamp and die set.  You can cut 10 flowers and 2 leaves out all at one time!!  Below are a few cards I made with the new stamp.

World Card Day

Below are the cards I made for World Card Day,

To create the leaves, I used Alcohol Ink on Vellum.  I used Heartfelt Creations Open Falling Leaves stamp set.  The background was created using Spellbinders M-Bossbilities Twigs.  I then used Distress Ink Gathered Twigs to add color to the background.

Butterfiles and Rainbows

I cut 1/4" strips of paper and used double sided tape to adhere it to a piece of card stock.  Then cut the butterfly out with a die.  I used Spellbinders dies.  Then cut the paper so it cuts the butterfly in half.  Adhere 1/2" the butterfly to the rainbow strip with negative of the butterfly to create cards.

Next Monday some friends and I are meeting to make cards.  The theme will be Bee Card.  Most of these are clean and simple cards.

I drew the bee on all of the cards but the "happy B-day" and "Bee Yourself".  Last week I bought the Fawn Lawn Bee Mine stamp set and used it.  Such a cute bee!

Sea Theme Blog Hop

I have made several projects with the sea turtle and seaweed stamp set.  I love this stamp set.  You can make really beautiful cards and layouts with it.

I basically used 2 techniques to create the background paper for the cards.    Alcohol Ink Technique and a technique using shaving cream.

Here are my cards using the alcohol ink technique as the background.  The turtle was stamped on background made with the shaving cream technique and  embossed in gold.  The top turtle I used a green distress ink to shade the turtles body.

Here are my cards using the shaving cream technique as the background.  The turtle was stamped on background made with the alcohol ink technique and embossed in gold. The sea weed for the top card was embossed with a sea foam green.

 The sea weed in the card below was stamp with clear embossing ink and embossing with clear embossing powder before the shaving cream technique was used.

The last project I created was (2) 2 page scrapbook layouts using the sea turtle and the mini cloisonne  starfish and shell.

Card Captain for Michael Strong Stamps yahoo group

This week I am card captain and I am using the Michael Strong Sea Turtle and Hannah's Busy Bee stamp sets.

Day One:  A bookmark made with the Sea Turtle and Sea Weed Stamp Set.  The background was made with Alcohol Ink and glossy cardstock.

 Day Two:  Is the new Hannah's Busy Bee Stamp Set.  The Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, Honey Bee Sentiments set.

Day Three:  A bookmark made with the center of the Hannah's Busy Bee.

Simon Says Stamp Card Kit July 2-13

I have been making cards from the Simon Says Stamp July 2013 card kit.  The kit comes with the Cupcake Party stamp set.  This a very fun set.  It can be used to make cards for any occasion that you want to celebrate; birthdays to Fourth of July.

Simon Says Stamps July 2013 Card Kit

Today I finally had some time to open my new kit.  I was created  a few cards using the Cupcake Party stamp sent that came in the kit.

 I just love the fireworks stamp and had to create a card even though it was not in time to give as a 4th of July card.  So I stamped it with a Let's Celebrate stamp.  I figure it could be used for other happy occasions.

Card Captain for the Michael Strong Yahoo Group

I was card captain last week for the Michael Strong Yahoo Group.  Below you will find the cards I showed during my week. 

The rest of my cards featured the MS Fleur de Lis and Club Scrap paper.  They went well together!

The last card I created featured the M bossabilites Delightful Daisies by Spellbinder and MS Mini Butterfly stamp.
